This is my niece Addyson Michelle. She's so adorable! And she's ALWAYS ready for the camera!Mommy and Daddy are actually on vacation in Hawaii right now and this was a quick and easy way for them to see her!

Nutrisystem Diet

I don't know how many people know this, but I've been doing the Nutrisystem diet. Something to more-or-less getting the weightloss started. I've got some pretty good news about it though. In the two weeks I've been doing it (and a little cheating here and there), I've already lost 4 lbs! I'm really excited about it, and it's keeping me pretty motivated to stick with it. The plan is pretty good, and I've only been grossed out by one or two dishes, like the "scrambled eggs." (yea, they were nasty!) Now, I'm just going to keep up the work and see where it takes me!

Pictures from over Tom's R&R

So this picture was actually taken on the last day that Tom was home. We're actually waiting in the airport for his flight to board. It was nice to see them comfortable with one another. It happened a lot fast than I honestly thought it would. I guess Ellie already knew who Daddy was!


This is a picture of Ellie when we all went out for breakfast while we were in Williamsburg, VA. She had this crazy facsination with my glasses, so we decided to see how long she'd wear them. It last, oh 3 secs or so.


This is when Tom first arrived. I don't think I've ever smiled so much as when I saw him walk through the terminal!



This was from our favorite Crab House in all of MD. It's called Drift Inn and it's where Mom and Dad Haenke experienced their first blue crabs! Ellie was having a ball as you can tell.


And here's a picture of ole cracker face herself! She was enjoying the conversation just as much as everyone else as long as the conversation revolved around her!

for starters

So. I figured this would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone. I know I'm horrible about sending out pictures and actually picking up a telephone, but this way everyone can check as they please. I'll keep things updated on a weekly basis so that everyone can see what's going on with Eliska and Tom (and myself if any rare occassion happens). I'll upload pictures every now and again, but that is something that can't be guaranteed. =) Well, I hope you all enjoy what you read!
